OPENING PARTY FRIDAY, AUGUST 13th @ 6:30pm!!!
Brooklyn born artist, Ethan Rosenduft has been involved in the arts since he was 14 years old. His first passion was in film and television, which has led to a successful career working on sets of feature films and TV shows in and around New York City. Ethan has also been involved in spoken word poetry since 2003. He has participated in regional poetry slams as well as reading at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and other venues from Miami to Chicago.
Ethan’s main focus in this project was to explore sharp lines and vanishing points. What started as a few small paintings in a book a year ago has quickly progressed into a vast collection on mixed media.

Depoe
Jonathan “Depoe” Villoch’s recent work is based on a fascination with geometric shapes and the color fields found throughout the ever-changing visual landscape. Depoe combines spontaneous color choices with methodical drips to create stark differences in contrast. Abandoning any concern for figurative representation, his ideas and emotions are communicated through visual rhythms and patterns.

PICTURES FROM A WALK
People fascinate me, one of my favorite things to do is to take walks around the city and surrounding suburbs and photograph people going about their daily lives. This activity allows me to meet and interact with people from very different walks of life. It also
allows me to experience how people live and interact with one another on a daily basis.
Walking the streets of New York, I come across many moments that shed light on the human story. I try to capture a sliver of that story that is constantly unfolding in front of me. From a woman walking down a sunny street lost in contemplation, to a homeless person looking on pleadingly as a tourist unaware of his presence snaps a photograph, these are the human dramas I encounter every day.
Take away what you will from these pictures my hope is that they will stay with you long after you have viewed them. If they speak to you on some human level then I’ll have succeeded in my photographic endeavor.
